Linda, excellent job on the re-edit of the image, I really like how you made the colors "pop". It changes what the image conveys to the viewer. It goes from a "gloomy another day at the office" look to a more up-beat feeling. Nice. |

I often don't title my photos as the title often leads the viewer into a certain perspective of the image. I do like your suggestion for the title '9:41' does just seem to fit it with out defining the image. |

I had played with that crop, eliminating the man on the left completely. Then part of the table got cut off so I cropped some more and then some of the buildings went missing and it kept losing more of the detail that I liked. I also like the sitting man as he is observing the scene as am I. |

I often shoot just architecture, mostly old buildings. But this image (to me) is more about the people with the buildings as supporting characters. It would be difficult, I think, to get this picture without any people given its location. |

I like the Stan Laurel reference, now I would like to see Stan's image imposed on the gorilla's image or facing the gorilla. |

I wish I saw this image without the two originals to the right. As soon as I scanned the images I new that the mirror was on a car and that their was a dog in the vehicle. My mind went to an abandoned car with a stray dog sheltering within the vehicle. I don't see the skull that others have mentioned but I do like the story that I see. I do agree with the others about it not being an "abstract" image but what exactly is an abstract defined as anyway. |

Interesting image, wow to the 5 minute exposure, a lot of time with relatively little blurring of the movable objects, it must have been a very still day. I like the window-frame framing inner shadows and the fallen timber. But the lighting makes the window image seem flat and when I first looked at the image before noting the exposure time I thought the blurring of the grasses and weeds was due to depth of field. I will definitely be looking into long exposures on landscapes now. |

It is grand looking flower, the texture and detail of the flower combined with the gentle bokeh of the flower's leaf structure which then leads to the remaining background which is nicely blurred. Just curious was this illuminated with just the sun or was some fill flash or reflector used? Looks great! |

First impression was "what's a banana factory?". I like the sign and the imagery that flashes through my brain trying to imagine what a banana factory would look like (think Wil-E Coyote and the Road Runner cartoon images).
However, the overall image seems harsh and busy with all of the cylinders and plumbing stuff which then blend in with the busy background.
I see this as two disparate images (banana sign versus cylinders) that my brain doesn't want to connect together. |

I really like this picture, what a pose!!! The texture is great, the clarity looks good. The frame at the bottom of the photo is different from the sides/top. I am not crazy about the background, particularly the "lines/ripples" that seem to roll off is head area like waves. I do wonder what he is thinking about. |
