Hi Gloria,
Here is the color version, it was a difficult choice deciding black and white or color. |

I like the male carrying the box on his head. Although is does seem stereotypical that the male is carrying it and not the female. My wife and I joke about this when she is doing the carrying and I am empty handed. I also find it interesting that the women, perhaps, presents better dressed? I like to content but there are many distractions also. Please see my rendition as how I would see it, not necessarily better just my view. |

Gloria, It is an interesting photo, I like that the two clergy are looking in different directions, perhaps they just don't want to see each other. I think I would like to see the cropping on the top brought down just so the balconies are not seen. I differ with the others about the dog. I would rather see just the clergy cropped in closer. I like to overall composition with the flag between them and each of them standing in front of two different doors. I took a closer look at the clergyman on the left, is he on a smoke break? Looks like a cigarette in his hand, a great classic look, but also not one that is thought of with clergy. Also he appears to be wearing jean and boot(?) under his vestments (see my look). I love your look and feel and you captured them well. |

Very fun shot, looks great in black and white. People on a bus going somewhere always adds an interesting level to the photo as one's own imagination gets to add to the story. No one looks really happy, a lot emotion played out in everyone's faces. Going home after a long day at work, or perhaps just left visiting an old friend that's not doing well. There is a a lot of feeling in this photo. Nice! |

Bruce, I like that the photo is sharp and clear. I am a little jealous of his beard. I do like the photo better without the meat hanging behind him but with the meat hanging to the right of him. Maybe, next time have him hold one of his tools. It looked like he enjoyed posing which adds to the emotion of the photo. |

This is a very busy photo, which I personally like as it gives my imagination a lot of room to roam. The barber to the left, the photographer to the right, the bus behind, the accouterments in the shop, a lot of stuff to see. It has that journalistic feel. I imagine the barber was looking at you hoping that you'd be his customer and he'd have you looking great with a new haircut. I wonder how much a polarizing filter would have changed the reflections, better or worse? |

Very interesting photo. I also would not have thought to use bracketing in handheld street photography. The angled mirror reflection gives the photo a modern art feeling (can't think of the artist's name I am envisioning). Normally when I think of Cuba (i have never been there) I think of old buildings, old cars, not new more modern ones. It would be interesting to see an old car or bus in the reflection of the modern building. |
