Composition is excellent. Lines lead to subject with background adding to the silhouette effect. The shadow breaks the light also adding attention to the subject. Simplicity works well here. Looks like a tilted eye there in the ice. |

There's no doubt what the subject is in this shot. Using monochrome makes me think what an insect might see. The center details could be a close-up all on it's own. Focus of the subject is crystal clear and when you zoom in, new details emerge. You really have to zoom in to get the total impact of this photo. |

I love it when a plan comes together. You must have know this was a good picture when you first saw it. Colors compliment, textures work as leading lines, subject nice and bright. I like the over all shape the soft curve from vertical to diagonal. The subconscious mind picks up on certain shapes. |

A good, sharp shot. Looks like morning light to me. I like the angle you used showing the subject dishing up the sunlight. I also find that shooting from a distance sometimes gives you the depth of focus you want. The fence worked well as a tripod. |

I like the subject, foreground, background and textures. Lighting is great and you caught the feeling of the moment. I really don't notice the left eye out of focus. Her head is slightly cutoff which you might not have been able to avoid because of the father's ear. This would make a good print for the family to keep. |

Very interesting how the background is dark and subject is well illuminated although light is angled. The top part that is cutoff leaves me wanting to see more of the flower. Did you try any shots from above and even from below? |

Great example of the golden ratio in nature and art. Colors compliment and lines direct toward center of subject. The soft light helps bring out the multiple shades of green. Try some shots from above or different angles. |

Hello,
This music box is spring powered with a manual crank. Originally on a slot machine I heard. My grandfather was a salesman for Texaco and picked it up in Telluride, CO. My parents placed it in the Telluride Museum where it stayed for some time. To me, it's a craftsman's work of art. |

What would your father say? A very modern street scene to say the least. Looks a step too close, tent seems to float. Problem is a step back might not make signs readable. Colorful, in focus and well light. All in all, a great shot. He must have sailed the Pacific in the past, grows his own plants to process the pharmaceutical oil, hence Farma. Pick your own? Like Christmas trees? |
