This shot brings a nice cool, peaceful feeling to my mind. Everything looks healthy and happy, especially in the lower right corner. You could crop that corner all by itself. No wonder you and the bee were attracted to this subject. The small purple places in the background work well too complimenting the main green and yellow tones. |

Colors are important and should compliment. Light on dark colors like this shot hold the attention on the subject. Dark on light is more difficult. I like to see supporting features because it gives more the flower a reality of how it obtained it's current beauty. This flower looks healthy, happy and well taken care of. |

A great choice for a closeup. So many details, flowers within a flower. I wonder what an extension tube would do for you? The colors of the background compliment the subject holding the attention there plus the white of the flower adds to the staying power. I also like the slight hint of the vine in the background which gives it support so it doesn't look like the flower is floating in air somehow. |

A nice sharp focus on the subject. The blurred background is perfect for this shot leaving attention where it should be, the subject. If you zoom in on the drops, you can see a lensing effect of the background. Hairs of the vine slightly obstruct the water drops. Keep up the experimenting. |

A great street scene. Everyone has something going on. The dog facing one way and the boy who looks like he's on a mission while in deep thought caught my eye. Great composition. Shadows are very dark on the right. |
