Another story teller of the Winter season this year. The ice looks so strong and heavy compared to the plant. Reminds me of when orange farmers would spray the oranges with water to save them from freezing. The colors work well with each other. Composition and focus on the subject holds the attention. The soft background is also a compliment with a positive light accent. |

I like your use of light from multiple directions. Super vibrant reds to softer tones and textures. The flower seems isolated. Isn't there more to the cacti? I like the color combination of red and green that matches the subject. The more I look at it, the more it appeals to me. |

Simple yet complex. Tells a story with every brush stroke. I like how the handle is fairly clean. Composition, light, textures and patterns. It holds my interest well. |

Another good close up. Multiple shapes, lines, patterns and textures. There''s a few blurred spots, focus bracketing might have helped this or photo merging. Also backing up just a bit might bring everything into focus. I tend to want to get as close as possible which always hurts my work. |

The far edge of the ball looks slightly out of focus. You may have been a touch too close. Try taking a step back and taking lots of pictures. Also since using a tripod, set a two or ten second delay to avoid any movement. A split second can make all the difference after you press the shutter button. |

Looks a little out of focus and the top is cutoff. I would suggest taking 20 -50 pictures at different angles, you might be surprised by finding some good pics you did not expect. You can always delete the bad ones. An angle might enable you to get the whole plant in the frame. Just suggestions. |
