Praying for you in Texas. I've heard a lot about the tough winter there. Hope thing are better. Winds have been an issue here in CA. Very little rain.
This picture tells the story well. Composition, background, lighting, focus, all came together. It does look like the bird is wondering what to do. Zoom in on some birds for future shots. I've tried some bird shots, they seem to know when you point the camera at them. I missed a shot of a condor in a tree a few years ago because she flew away as I pointed the camera. |

Perfect close up for this time of year. Very interesting melt pattern. Great background with texture which shows depth. My first impression matches my most resent which is it's a winning shot. So many possibilities in editing as Cindy shows. |

Would this be a Scottish ram? You captured so many details and textures in this photo. Your editing is spot on and my compliments on this month's shot. I just have a problem with the metal invading the more natural aspects and the angle change in the lower right corner. This shot could not be passed up at any rate. |

What a maze of a subject. Looks like it's not just a random pattern of deterioration. I like the angle you chose. Does you camera have focus bracketing? Photoshop should be able to merge for complete focus. This is a great example of a close up I believe. |

Great subject with seasoning. Try a few shots at an angle to capture dimensions. The cutoff on the lower right probably could not be avoided. The latch alone would make a good story. |

A healthy subject caught at the right time. The flower is cutoff and the background is too busy. I might suggest getting really close it and making the flower the whole picture with the stamen the subject. Keep up the good work. |
