Excellent subject and subject shape. Plenty of great angles and subject is placed in the rule of thirds intersection.
The caterpillar's heads seem just a bit out of focus. Does your camera allow Focus Bracketing? Try it in upcoming photos. Also see if you can stack photos in your editing software. As for the noise, I am finding that using a lower ISO reduces harsh noise. You might not have been able to do so here because of their movements. |

I just watched a Webinar on Wabi-Sabi. It's available to members on the PSA website. There's beauty in even the simplest things. Faces, heart and many positive shapes are all around if we know where to look.
The part that could be improved is the focus of the foreground. It's better to have the background out of focus than the foreground but not both. Are you able to focus stack in your editing software? Maybe try a macro focus rail? |

Old cameras are fantastic subject. Argus was an American made camera in the mid 1950's. State of the art for it's time. I'm trying to learn focus stacking in PSE 2020 with the Elements+ add-on. I believe you can stack in Lightroom. Just have to take more pictures at different focal lengths. Do you have a macro focus rail? |

This picture is loaded with all the angles you could ever want plus the colors and focus are ideal. I would suggest moving the center of the shell to one side or the other. Maybe I'm wrong. Only the artist knows for sure. If it feels right, it is. May I suggest the video Art Lessons - Methods for finding pleasing compositions (Aaron's Art Tips Season 2 E17) on YouTube. |

Great subject and shape. Might you be able to crop the center of the flower out of the center of the picture? Although some pictures belong to be centered. One other improvement would be is to edit the background color to a darker one or such. It might bring the shapes of the petals out some more. Many Fibanocci angles. There's a good rule of thirds video on creatureartteacher.com. You can find it on YouTube also.
