This is a forum to exchange ideas and opinions - this is very much healthy - I am new to this group but enjoying a lot. Flicker link is showing bad link error. Can you please check that once again? |

Excellent creation. In my opinion, the composition will be stronger if you can show little more at the bottom. |

Yes, Chhath is a very colourful event in India. You can get more details in Wikipedia:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chhath
This photograph was taken at Kolkata (near Howrah) during Chhath but Varanasi is also very famous for it.
I like wildlife, enjoy wildlife photographs but never tried for it. My gadgets are also not appropriate for capturing wildlife.
Ha ha, I am not responsible for the dyes. Currently I am in Paint industry and struggling hard to make Zebra colourful.
Thank you once again for your valuable comment. |

Thanks for your comment. Next time I will try to pay attention on this distraction part but it is very hard to avoid in a group. |

Yes, you are correct - little space is required at the bottom. Next time I will keep this point in mind.

In my view, those two ladies at the front made the composition complete & can be considered as heart of the image. This was not an arranged shot, so one lady (in red) looking away is also normal - same thing can be seen at any classroom where few students are paying attention towards windows. However, next time I will keep this point in mind.
Thanks for your comment & criticism. |
