The camera was set to f13 and a 0.3 sec shutter speed. I do not remember if there was a breeze. I compared my orginal .cr file with the .jpg and there is some degradation in leaf detail in the lower half. The upper half has almost lace like leaves, were I agree, the detial is not that great. In answer to your question, you are not missing anything. It is rather soft. |

I find the image on the flat side lacking contrast and detail in the rock and subjects. It might be worth some effort beyond just the channel swap. That said, I have felt that about some of my own images only find out that it is just isn't there to capitalized on. |

I like the leading line created by the trees starting at the cart and ending at what I take to be a stone silo. Not a fan of the red flare in the center tree or the loss of detail in parts of the tree trunks. Looks like it might have been caused by the sun in the background. In my view the image has a lot of wow factor so I hope you are able to return when the sun is in a different place. |

Your image gets a blue ribbon. You have done an excellent job of removing the clutter. I might not have stopped at the lighter grey across the bottom. I like the tips of the peddles and the way the red fads to white. |
