My only input is a desire to see the entire ship and more open space below the anchors. I would also do some color addition to the flag versus leaving it bleached out. |

Your original looks like a infrared R72 filter on a nonconverted camera. I like your results and the somewhat
eerie feeling of the tree and sky together. Were it mine, I would take out the boat and land mass on the left horizon so my view is not distracted. Nice job for an over exposure. |

With the nine in one file, I reset the white balance using the white background in bottom second from right image. Next I did channel swaps from LifePixel but that seemed to really limit any follow on adjustments. After a full reset, back in light room with the same WB I started playing with the HSL sliders. The most dramatic impact was with the Luminance in the red, orange, purple and magenta sliders to the left. Result attached and in my view not to impressive or what I had hoped for. Onward! |

Of the three I prefer that by Chuck because it bring out the sky more which is what was desired in the first place.
Now to orchids. I had not photographed orchids before so I when I went to the local store I chose one with a fair amount of patterned color in the pedels also thinking you, Chan, had submitted one that was perhaps of uniform color. Boy, was I wrong. Seems no matter what slider, or knob I twisted it remained for the most part a solid white.
For my next attempt I did not want to spend about $200 on orchids trying a variety, I took IR images of nine different ones in a grocery store under strong floursecent light. I took the SOOC images converted to 16 bit .tiff files and arranged them in one image. see the attached |

In the original the tree is vertical and the logs in front run
down the slope while in the final the tree seems unchanged but now the logs are more horizontal. Same goes for the slope in the background. Using LR I cound not get the same. Oh,well. I would like the final better if there was more depth in the yellow as this looks rather flat to me. |

I like your image. as you can see I did a tighter crop to bring the focus to the presidents and still keep the dynamics of your original in my view |

I used the adjustment brush and was able to bring out a little
more detail at the end of passage. |
