I think the focus was on the tree between the two paths. I did shoot a number of images as they walk away and was fortunate to get one where they were in line with the tree. |

Overall, I like the idea of the image despite some imperfections. I marked the white speck in the upper right and arrows at the ends of a line what appears as a distorted area in the background. In my view, I also find the tonal changes of the background annoying as I study the subject. I took you image into PS and under Adjustments changed the image to B&W and then moved the blue slider to the extreme left. This made the background a solid black and for me easier to look at and in addition the imperfections I mentioned earlier went away. But then the focus of the subject is more obvious. Perhaps a subject for a studio setting. |

Thanks for the comments. I agree with the upper left corner being a little bright. With regard to the right side, I left it in to draw attention to them "taking the road less traveled" but when I look that the title here, "path" that aspect is lost. I honestly do not remember what I titled this when submitted here but when posted to my and the Digital Infrared Photography Facebook pages I got the title correct. Must be a case of brain fade. |
