In my view, I think the wood beams etc take away from the image and title. Together with the column and building do little in helping to frame the subject which I see as the bell tower and stormy clouds. Were it my image I would be regretting not having stepped closer, like beside the column, and taking another shot. |

I agree with Rick's comment about the distraction of the black spot. I see it as boat of some sort so that helps me figure out what is horizon, water and beach(I guess). I would like to have seen more definition in the flowers as they seem washed out as well as definition in the beach. Do like the silhouette of grass. |

I choose to crop your image. I felt there was excess building on the right as well as clouds and I still have the feeling of Ship Street. See my attached file. Once noticed I am drawn to what I believe is the roof of the church. A cloud seems to be coming over the roof line and casting a shadow on the roof. Otherwise I would assume these to be very high clouds. |

Instantly, I see this as fireworks in the night sky. My only recommendation is to add the fire trail from the launching mortar. Nice work! |
