I enjoy the composition and theme of this image. I am sensitive to the juxtaposition of the old versus new giving a strong sense of time. Good work!!
I too would like to know more about your post processing. |

Thanks for the feedback. My goal with this image was to highlight the pattern in the leaves (?) which is not nearly if at all noticeable in regular light. Hence, other aspects of the image took a back seat. |

Not sure what you saw that would move you to get closer. I do feel the final crop on the image is to tight. Per the original there is not much on the right side of the tree but the inclusion of a little more on the left side might help to lose a boxed in feeling I get. The tree also has a look of being pasted on, perhaps to much post processing in LR. |

I like the sharp focus present in your image. Good camera and LR work.
Question: is your T3i converted or are you just using a screw on B&W filter in front of your lens? I have a LivePixel conversion and have a heck of a time to get get a good focus with other another lens. |
