Thanks for the feedback. Works for me and, I think, Chan as well. |

Chan what is on the right of the Cypress? I find myself drawn to it to understand. I do like the rest of the image and agree with Lisa about the foliage to the left of the tree. Have you ever tried to use exposure bracketing and post process in Aurora. See the attached with the left half in
Aurora HDR (3 images over, under, center) and the right the over exposed image used. Still a problem with the green grass in this one. Another opportunity. |

Judy, I like the corrected version much better. For me it creates the sense that the storm is here and now as opposed to in the distance as with the first. You are so lucky to have storms like that to capture (overlooking the destructive nature that comes with them.) I like the lighter spot in the distance just above where the dock ends as it give a sense that the storm will pass. |

I copied the image to a white background and was glad to see the tree does not run off the edges. it is a striking image that I like. I would like more if there was some detail in the main tree trunks versus a uniform grey tone. |

Chad; thanks for the feedback. I see the issue, perhaps I should have cropped off more of the right side to lessen the dark area. This moves the subject into the center off the left third which might also work. |
