Congratulations! This is a very nice image. I would say the same thing about photography at the Zoo as I said to Steve. |

Jennifer, I like this image as it is. Yes, you could have zoomed in more, or out more, but you chose this view. As for the number of people, todays editing software (Lightroom, Photoshop, etc.) can quickly and very effectively remove some, or all of them.
I also like the composition that shows the massive waterfall against the comparative size of the people to give scale to the image. I also very much like the placement on the people. |

Will, congratulations! This is a fine, creative image. I feel the one, sharp image of the woman is what completes the image. Thanks for your explanation of how you created this.
By the way, although no one in this group would say it, don't be concerned if some other viewer says, "But this does not look real. It is fake." Art is not about recording an accurate historical record. |

Dale, I really enjoy this image. Yes, there appears to be a lot of noise. I do not see the noise as a problem; it seems to add texture to the image. Overall, this image has a very impressionist look to it. |

Steve, we can't all take a trip to Africa. You have done a good job of overcoming your lack of travel opportunity.
I like what you have done here. If I did not have your account of photographing this animal, I would not know it was in a Zoo. What does it matter if you are not entering in Competition. I don't care how you did it, I just want to enjoy this very good image. |

Dale, thank you. I always look forward to your critique. You seem to "get" me. I do not see myself as teaching anyone through my images, rather I value the feedback I get from this group as I continue to experiment and learn. Good eye at noticing the difference in the bush between the B&W and the Color. |

Thank you for your reply. I enjoy working on my images in Lightroom Classic and Photoshop. These two programs are amazing when you learn how to use them. |

I slightly boosted the greens. See my response to Jennifer, below. Does it make a difference? |

Interesting question. I felt that there were too many trunks of the tree, but at the time, felt that removing the one (actually, I removed two) was enough. |
