If you put this in Ps or a similar editing program and overlay my crop with the Golden Spiral composition guideline, you will find that I have placed the wedding group in a power point position in the image. |

Thanks, Dale. Your comments are highly regarded by me. Yes, I agree that the molding at the top should be removed. A very easy step in Ps. |

Who said that cell phones don't have good cameras? This is a very interesting scene. With all that there is to see here, the wedding party is the subject. A viewer's eyes will most always move first to people in the image. Therefore, I believe a little simplification is in order. The portion of the image to the right of the large palm tree is a separate image. Try creating more of a vertical image by cropping in from the right side until you remove the large tree. |

Cindy. The first, and best advice I received when I was starting a photography business (way many years ago) was, "Never take advice from someone who has never done what you are trying to do." Therefore, don't listen to anything I have to say about this image, except when I say, "I like it."
No, I have never tried astrophotography. As a photographer, I believe you could make an even stronger image by creating a vertical by cropping in from the left. I feel the trees on the left add very little to the composition. |

Dale, I'm not one that believes that one must always follow the rules (suggestions) of composition, but for this image, I believe that moving the subject flower down and to the right would result in a more interesting image. I agree what the others have said. |

Steven, what a very nice food image. You make me hungry as I view it. Yes, I would eat it. I love all kinds of sea food. But, as much as I love the octopus image, it is the lemon that makes this image for me. |

Thank you for your comments. Your suggestions are well taken. Yes, I was using a 70 to 200mm lens set at f/4. I did a bit of straightening a thought I had everything plum. As for the flowers, I found that when I left them sharp, they competed with the candle to become the subject.
I fully agree. It is hard to finally say, "It is finished." |

I, also, considered removing the molding at the top left, but decided to leave it. |

I believe that this is a successful image. Your crop, the blurred background and the removal of the third bird draws attention to the subject birds. If this were my image, I might try cropping in even more by lowering the birds and bringing in the left side to remove the remaining leaf. |
