I always transfer them to my desktop and use Lightroom Classic and Photoshop. I want to view my images as large as possible and on a calibrated monitor. I will usually look at the image enlarged on my monitor to 200 % for a final check. |

Thanks, Dale. Yes, modern cell phone cameras are great. I am adding mine to my toolbox, along with but not instead of, my other cameras. |

Yes, it will do strange things if you go too far. Most of what people try to do with it is better done by adjusting exposure on a local adjustment (Selection). |

Thanks for your comments, Cindy. Yes, there are a number of crops (or non-crop) that would work. No, I am not taking any class. I may watch one of the webinars available through PSA. Mostly I am just experimenting. |

This is a quick revision, but you can see the direction I was going. |

Both Will and Steven have given you good advice. I like what Steven has done.
Do not give up on Photoshop. Take it one step at a time and remember that Layers and Selections are your friend. If you use a new layer for every step of processing, Photoshop is non-destructive and allows you to easily go back and make corrections. It will also allow you to go back to the beginning and start over again. |

Will, you have presented a very interesting image, but I too would like to see a sharper rider. This is hard to do, and I don't know how good your technique was. I do know that my technique improved when I remembered to keep my camera tracking on the subject after I pushed the shutter. |

Very nice image, Dale. With both Lightroom and Photoshop in my bag of tools, I no longer use Silver Effects Pro. You have used Lr well.
Steven suggests some alternat visions for the image. I like the vision you have, and I like the moment of rest these three carriage horses are enjoying.
Perhaps a slight degree of added contrast would be nice, but I am not sure. |

Steven, what a very nice image! In do agree with much of what Will had to say but be very careful with dehaze. As I view the image, the large cliff tries to steal the show. It is the largest object in the image, and the most colorful. Yes, the lighthouse needs to be punch up a bit if it is going to be the star of the show. Darkening the sky a bit (dehaze might work here if you don't overdo it) might help the lighthouse to stand out. |

Steven, thank you for taking on the task of administering our group. We will miss Lance, but I feel we are in good hands.
Yes, there are some trees that will change color in the fall. Not like the trees in the northern part of the country, but still, some color.
I am enjoying using my cell phone camera, but it will not replace my other cameras. |

Will, thank you for taking the time to view my image and making helpful comments. Yes, this is an urban landscape. This is where I live. I decided to not try to make it look like a rural landscape. |
