Very good image. I like the fact that you included enough to help me see the subject is really high off the ground. I wonder what the effect would be if you had used a slower shutter speed that could have captured a bit of movement without over blurring the subject. |

I can see why you were drawn to this image. What a restful scene. However, I have a hard time being drawn into it. Perhaps if you had moved back a bit to present a longer road going into the curve, I could find even greater enjoyment. |

This is a very nice image. Obviously a very overcast day. I do tend to agree with Lance in suggesting the 16:9 crop. My only other suggestion is to strengthen the small bits of green on the rocks. |

Very nice image. It would be interesting to see what the results might be by very slightly lightening the trees in the background along the riverbank, and the river itself, while slightly darkening the remainder of the scene. The effect should be very subtle. |

Steven, very well done. You precent a very interesting scene with good color and tonal qualities. Some may say, "Yes, but you were working with professional models and lighting." But you were the one who composed the image and decided on the proper camera settings. A less competent photographer might produce a mediocre image. |

Very nice image. I am sure you were being very careful to assure that there was not a train coming, or that this was an abandoned track.
I like the way the background fades away and the perspective of the track narrows in the background. Your focus and B&W conversion really make the subject stand out. |

Lace, I apologize for being so late to answer. This month has sped by at a rapid pace'
Thank you for your comments and suggestion. I see the value of the alternate presentation of my image. Your's is closer to what I imagined when I first composed it in the viewfinder of my camera. |
