I agree with your assessment that the floor is too dark. I have gone back to the Photoshop file and lightened the overall blue cast and like it better. Thank you for the help. |

Your suggestion causes me to look at this and other ways to improve my composite. Thank you. |

I certainly will consider your suggestions. Constructive critique is what I am looking for as I continue to learn about composites, and creative photography in general. |

Very creative image. I enjoy seeing and creating composite images. I am sure you had fun creating the image, and I enjoy seeing it. Thanks for sharing. |

Excellent creative image. How did you keep the glasses from sliding on the tilted mirror? I do like the new background. Not only does it add interesting texture, but it overcomes the starkness of the original. |

I enjoy what you have done with this image. The very narrow stroke around the image works very well (on my screen) to set the image apart from my screen's dark background. I would like to see some brighter white in the image to provide more contrast. |

I do like the resulting image. The filter you selected gives the original a very playful look. However, as Joan suggests, should the use of one filter satisfy the requirements of the "Creative" designation.? |

Excellent image. I do, however, agree with Joan's suggestion.
I feel you have handled the color well and brought out textures not evident in the original. As for the black outline, I feel it is a distraction. |

Lance, thank you for dropping in. Your comments are always appreciated and carefully considered. I have already reworked the image to deal with problems that I now see in this rendition. As for the blue, I have tried to use it to show that this is happening in the late evening light, as opposed to a bright afternoon. I hoped to add some degree of mystery about what may or may not be about to happen.
I continue to appreciate what I have learned from your critiques of my work in DD Group 87. |

Thank you for your comments. I might add that the main image is a self-portrait, thus the wireless remote shutter release.I included the extra sections of the window frame after I concluded that limiting it to one section gave the impression of a photograph in a picture frame.
My longer title for this image is: The Man Outside My Window. |

Dale, thanks for your comments. I thought through what I wanted for the composite, but when it came to the main image, I captured a number of poses to give me plenty to choose from. This one seemed to appeal to me.
This was a fun project. |

Yes, the images are different. As this B&W stands, I find myself wondering, "Why is he here," and "What is he thinking about?" I enjoy both images, even if it is a self-portrait. |

Thanks, Cindy. I am glad you picked up on the story telling value of the image. Feel free to create whatever story you think applies. |

Thank you, Lance for your interest in my composites. I am contemplating a series of composites showing me in different settings and poses. |

Thank you, Steven. I am glad you enjoyed the image. I certainly enjoyed creating it. It is very freeing for me to be able to create an image in my mind, and then be able to put it together as a digital image. I am committed to only using elements in my Composits that I have personally photographed. |

What a excellent, creative image. Yes, the moon is of interest, but to me the black bird is what separates it from a nice image and makes it excellent. |

Very good action shot. How could it have been better? A wider aperture could have blurred the background and made the diver stand apart from that busy background. Of course you may need that extra depth of focus to make sure you get the subject in focus in fast sports action. |

Real! Mostly real! Composit image! Why must we give it a category? Do we expect artists in other fields to give their work a published category? The resulting image is the way the photographic artist intends it to be.
Yes, when photographs are entered in competition the category sets certain limits. There are categories that allow as much creativity as the photographer wishes to express. There are other categories that demand totally unmanipulated images. Manipulation of images is as old as Photography itself. |

I get the feeling that I wish I were with them enjoying this adventure. The two main sources of light running from the bank to the boaters form good leading lines leading my eyes to the boaters. The one problem I see is that the light is so bright that the boaters, being backlit, tend to get lost in the brightness. |

I like the delicate nature of the petals. The fact that the revised image is larger in the reply section makes it hard for me to make an accurate evaluation of the two. Although I fail to see the problem with the first, I will yield to the more experienced eyes of Lance. |

Very nice image. I enjoy your long, narrow crop.
Would it be possible to darken the sky while enhancing the clouds? |
