I continue to work on this image and have added a color blend to enhance the mood I am looking for. |

I much prefer the final image over Original 2. The green background of Original 2 is confusing.
Your work of stretching the height of the tower and the addition of the filter is well done. I would remove the splotches of bright green at the right edge of the bottom third of the image and the smaller one just outside of the right side of the tower near the second from the bottom window. |

The creation of what is labeled as the Original is the most creative part of the image. Great work. The addition of the tree line gives a nice finishing touch.
Yes, a thin white stroke around the total image would help when shown upon a black background as it is here. |

I do like what I assume you did in ACR. The use of the filters adds a nice effect. |

It is a matter of the eye of the beholder. I find I like the effect, although it is rather "blocky." I might prefer a little more blending. |

Steven, I am sorry that your entry resulted in the age-old discussion concerning new technology. My limited study of the history of photography revels to me that from the very first cameras until today, photographers found development and printing variations to improve the image captured on the glass or metal plate, the film, or the digital senser. Few, if any accomplished photographers ever took their plate or film and placed it in a standard developer for a standard period of time. Then took the plate or film negative and used it to expose the photographic paper for a standard period of time, and called it finished. Therefore, I fail to understand what is meant by, "...the norms of 'classical tradition'."
I feel that AI generated images will find its greatest use by commercial photographers who have for years used stock photographs as a regular part of their work. I use it only to remove objects from a photo. We have been able to do this prior to AI, but it is so much quicker in Photoshop to use Generative Fill. |

The comment on the brightness of the spot on the wall is well taken. I will give that a try to see what impact it has. |

Thanks, Lance. Once again you have pointed out the value of looking at the small, common objects. You also teach us to be ready for the decisive moment. |
