Dale, thanks for your comments. I am finding that I can look back at a few photos that I liked, but seemed a little too cluttered, and find creative ways in Photoshop to make the final adjustment that turns a problem into a strength. It doesn't always work. |

I am in full agreement with the above comments. You state you are signed up for a Tornado Ally workshop. I look forward to seeing the image taken from inside the tornado. |

One of your very best that I can remember from you. I am surprised it was accomplished without a great deal of advanced Photoshops skills. Regardless of how it was done, it is the final image that counts. This one is outstanding.

Gosh! I wish I had taken this photograph. I would find somewhere in my study to display it. What a story telling image. As I look at it a number of stories cross my mind. Stories of lose. Stories of rescue. Religious symbolism.
The composition is excellent. The bright orange life saver is perfect against the overall muted color of the rest of the image. Wow! |

I am amazed that you were able to capture this image with the sharp focus you achieved while walking through the park. No time to set up a tripod. Nice work. |

Steven, great work. I don't agree that the glass is leaning. I believe that the tilted color bands at the top of the glass are due to the way the bands are distorted by the curved surface of the glass. This can be seen with greater bending at the bottom half, stem and base of the glass. To my eye, that is what makes the image interesting. |

Thanks for the comment. The very reason I masked the rider from the motion blur was to direct attention to him as the main subject. I'm pleased you agree. |

I did not try that. It would actually remove one step and probably give another interesting image. |

Thanks, Cindy. The more I get deeper into Photoshop, the more fun it gets. |

What a very nice scene. The B&W rendition gives the scene a very restful, quiet atmosphere. It makes me wish I were sitting on the porch with a cane poll and a bobber hoping that nothing happens to disturb my rest. |

Lance, I have given more thought to your suggestion of joining a Creative group. Thanks for the suggestion. I can do two groups. |

Lance, thanks for your comments. I needed this to get the creative juices flowing. It is getting harder for me to get out and search for appropriate subjects. You, and this group have taught me so much and encouraged me. I would not want to leave, and although I know I can join more than one group, I feal that adding another would be more than I wish to do. I hope you will not mind if I slip in a "creative" submission from time to time. |
