I really like this image. Very good B&W conversion. Good shadow details and textures.

87 Jan 23 Comment Another outstanding image. The interesting perspective, which I assume was created by placing the camera at ground level, makes the sculpture look massive. The blue lights play well with the beautiful sunset.

87 Jan 23 Comment What a very creative image. Congratulations on the creativity in arranging the leaves, and your equally creativity process for photographing the leaves. The image has good color and a wide range of tonal values. My eyes remained on the image for some time as I tried to trace the complex patterns of the smaller veins. Jan 4th

87 Jan 23 Comment Lance, I looked at both images before reading your description and was confused. That's my fault. I knew from the title that the images were of ice, but I could not find a part of image 2 (Original) that was cropped to produce the featured image. Now I see that my supposition was wrong.
The study is very interesting and not something I would notice in nature as I walked by. I do like the blue tone that adds a feel of physical cold. 		Jan 4th
