Thank you for your comments. Placing the panels was part of the project for me and determined the size and shape of the two additional panels. |

I do like the new crop. The reduced area of blur allows my eyes to not get caught up in that area and to instead move to the subject. In my opinion, the crop also moves the subject into a stronger position in the composition. The large bush on the opposite side with bright reflections of light on the leaves provides good balance. |

I must confess that the blurred foreground bothers me. The only effect my eye sees of the f.1.4 is the foreground. Perhaps if that area took less of the bottom area? Otherwise, I really like the rest of the composition and the peaceful feeling it gives. |

I think this image really lends itself to B&W. It is clean and sharp. The perspective gives it interest. |

These images are valuable historic records for the church. One day the windows (or some of them) will be damaged and lost. You did a great job and provided a great service to the congregation. |

"Nothing ventured, nothing gained." Multiple exposure is something I have never tried. Am I correct in assuming the number of exposures is three? The multiple exposure is not at first noticeable. |

As has already been said, beautiful colors, great expression.
My only other comment is that I wish you had used a little wider crop so as to leave more room at the bottom, rather than cutting off part of a foot. |

Lance. Thank you for your reply. Yes, I now see the perspective change in the hat frame. I was careless. With my legs as they have become, I am unable to stand in one place while maintaining balance without the aid of something to anchor me. I laid out that frame a little too far from my anchor point. I need to be more careful. Thanks for pointing that out. My other option would have been the use of a tripod.
My arrangement is based on an arrangement I saw in an internet search. Not always the best source.
Your comments are always helpful and appreciated. |
