Jennifer. Thanks for the comments. Yes, it is a quiet scene. Unfortunately, people who have lived in New Smyrna Beach for years don't even know that it is there. |

Lance. I can see what you are saying. I had not thought of the two images in those terms before. For another look in IR, check group 91. I think when time permits I will go back and see how many more images I can see at this location. Than you. |

As I now look at the image, it appears the line cook is standing behind a counter with nothing below but the lower end of a black wall. Probably nothing to see there. |

Very nice shot from the plane. Yes, the reflections from the window and the visible parts of the plane make it aware you are not out in the open. I like that part. It adds context to the image. I feel the image is slightly underexposed. A little added exposure will turn the snow on the mountain from gray to white and brighten the image. |

A very interesting image that one will not often see. You did a good job combining images to create the final image. Light painting is something I have not tried, but need to consider. The converging lines of the pier and the clouds give a great sense of depth to the image. |

This is a nice image with lots of interest. I like your crop which deletes areas I assume are additional Lilly pads, or other elements that add nothing to the image. I agree with Steven in increasing the exposure to whiten the swans. B&W works well for this image. |

Very nice image. Your selective focus causes the bird to really stand out from the background. The eye is in good focus and has a nice catch-light. Did you consider moving the bird out of the center of the frame? However, this framing works well. |

Lance. You always seem to jolt me out of comfort zone. I find that to be often what I need. I see this less as a record image of a place, and more a study of lines and color. Thus, your title. This is not the drastic angle that I would have chosen while in my comfort zone. Thank you. |

It does not snow in this part of Florida. The IR only captured by my camera renders every living green plant or leaves to be white due to the fact IR light waves are not used by plants for photosynthesis and therefore all of it is reflected back into the atmosphere. |

Chuck. I agree that the background is very high key. I considered darkening it some, but decided I like the effect. Too me, it gives more of a feel of the old film IR. |
