Thank you for your reply. This was one of those times when everything came together at the right time. It remains one of my favorite images and is framed and on the wall of my study. |

Now this is an image that grabs me. Very interesting and holds my attention. I struggle with modern art and music. Some have great appeal to me. Others look more like trash that insecure people praise because the think they a supposed to like it if they are "in the know." (I still can't accept rap as being music.) |

I watched the recent PSA webinar on Wabi Sabi and gained some concept of the approach. Some of the images presented were interesting and some reminded me of some of my accidental exposures with the camera pointed toward the ground. I appreciate the concept of finding beauty in fault (otherwise I would not be able to tolerate myself). When I first viewed your three image panel, all I saw was three badly out of focus images. Next I noticed the small circles with images of tree limbs. But what was I seeing? Was I looking through a hole in a wall at a tree outside? After reading your description I understand. I am still not sure what I think about it, but I see that the process is ment to free the photographer to experiment. It gives permission to fail. Also, you have given me a view that I would otherwise never have seen. You encourage me to risk creative attempts at image making. Thank you. But, I am still not sure. |

What a nice image. I am usually partial to B&W, but this is one instance when I like the color better. The was the red hair places of to the red dress is striking. Note: my wife has auburn red hair, so I may be partial. Never the less, the image has impact. |

I like it! I am not usually an auto engine guy, but you have created a work of art. As I view the image, I wonder about the lighting. Usually I am pretty good at determining the general pattern of light. Since you made no mention of the lighting, I search to find the answer (not important for the admiring viewer). Could this be outdoors, overcast day, with the hood removed from the car? The even lighting with no deep shadow detail leads me in this direction. Inquiring minds want to know. Well done. |

I always love well done B&W. Excellent image. Your choice of crop and the "pop" of the B&W really make the image. In color, uncropped, the image does not have much appeal for me, but with what you have done, I would be proud to have it hanging on a wall in my house. |

Thank you for your comments. This was hand held in the midst of a moving crowd. I bought the M50 as a travel camera especially for this trip. The problem with the original is that I had the camera set on -2.0 exposure compensation in order to prevent blowing out the highlights for out of door scenes. Big mistake. |
