The corrections that Sherry made for this photo made it an all together different image. I see a sharp focus on the subject and a catch light in the eye. I think the reflection in the water is an asset to the image. |

Thank you Sarita. I would love to re-make this image when the sun is available to help me with that catch light. |

Thanks Christine. The focus is a little soft I agree. It was an early misty morning and I sneaked out of lock down. I want to go back but still waiting on the sun. |

Thanks, Sherry. Yes they are donkeys. They are a common sighting in our area, often paired with a goat herd to protect them. |

Sweet capture.
I see that you've captured character - an angelic face contrasted by a scarred nose. The colors tell me that it's spring and the action is about to start.
To enhance the impact of this image I suggest a slight increase in the texture and boosting the light in his eyes. |

Good capture of a 'regal Heron'.
I feel the green background sets the Heron in center stage with good effect. I find that Herons are difficult to capture because their long necks sans an abundance of fluffy feathers makes them appear scraggly.
I suggest a slight edit with LR Adjustment Brush and Texture might add some detail in this Heron's neck. |

Donald, I find this capture epic.
I see great focus in the feathers and catchlight in the eye. I believe her/his facial expression shows energy and determination. The blurred background gives me a sense of dimension in the image without detracting from the subject.
I believe I detect some haloing around your hummer's beak which may have been caused by too much sharpening, a simple fix. |

Great capture, David.
I see great impact, focus, color and dimension in the image. And your story is powerfully presented.
I feel that your intended subject is the Cheetah but it seems to me that she is sharing too much of the image with the kill. I feel my eyes being directed to the bulk of the kill in the foreground. I propose that this image might have better balance if it were cropped in from the right side, leaving its legs for animal recognition.

Unusual capture Sarita. I've never known of the Painted Stork.
I believe you've successfully shown the source for the 'Painted' Stork. I am amazed with the orange color of her/his face. I like that you caught the catchlight in the eye.
I see that you captured this image at 1/4000 second. Any out-of-focus issue could possibly have been corrected by using a tripod, albeit quite challenging when shooting birds. |

Epic capture Sherry.
With the catchlights in the birds' eyes, it appears to me that they are watching you intently. Their colors keep my eyes focused on them. You captured the texture in their wings and in the branches very well. Dimension in this image is obvious to me with the multiple but muted earth colors in the background. |
