Thank you Sherry. We scouted an area in Ft Meyers. There also was a Bald Eagle nest that we watched for a while but kept our distance. We could see a scrawny fledgling in the nest. |

Great photo Christine. I'm with you on the 'naturalist' theory. I prefer to concentrate on creating the image 'in camera' with minimal post-processing. |

Thank you David. I took many photos of the burrowing owls while in FL. Probably half of the owls were standing on one leg. I think it is characteristic of them. |

I appreciate your comment. However, I thought the flower might add a pleasant balance to the 'grumpy' owl and actually to give her balance in the photo. |

'Bird in Flight" great capture: feet straight back shows 'need for speed"; great focus; pulled her wing back to ensure that you would get her face. I like it.
