94 Sep 23 Comment There's an interesting story about this shot. My good friend took me to an area where we have photographed before, and it was my 2nd trip out since shoulder surgery in early June. He was so nice to insure my safety and well-being on this shoot. A few days prior to our shoot, he had been there and photographed the Sphinx moths. When we arrived, there were no less than a couple dozen Sphinx moths nectaring like crazy on the Thistle. I have never seen that many at one time. It was a sight to behold. Sep 8th
