The three streams of water sets this image apart. Did you try monochrome? |

I like the layering and the strong foreground. |

Adding another comment, I had a 16x20 print of this image put on canvas, framed it, and submitted it to a silent, fund-raising auction in support of the Historic Albany Foundation. It sold. |

I didn't intend it to lead anywhere other than being eye-catching!! |

No real connection between the flowers and masonry other than being juxtaposed in the garden of a colonial-era mansion in Albany, NY. The masonry is a remnant of the original NY state capitol building that was demolished in the 1800s. I like the contrast between new flowers and old masonry. |

I feel that the flowers and masonry complement each other. |

Not a picture I want to have hanging on my wall but I suspect it states what you intended! As far as edit is concerned, I would just suggest lightening the image, but maybe the darker tone is appropriate. |

I agree with David's comment about including some of the non-reflected scene in your capture. This would give a reference point in interpreting the image. Otherwise, it looks like the lens had just been smeared with petroleum jelly. |

You worked this scene well. If these walls could speak. I wonder if the former "residents" would appreciate your treatment of their former abode. |
