My first reaction seeing the image is that it is over-sharpened, or maybe over-Photoshopped. Something just doesn't look right to me - not a major issue certainly. |

My eye is drawn to the dark red structure in the upper center, draped over a petal of the central blossom. This bothers and detracts from an otherwise superb photograph. |

I would expect all parts of the image to be razor sharp with this this technique. Would you have been better off using a higher ISO and smaller f stop, and use just a single image? |
