Is it valid to think of the focal point as the entire image?!! |

Tulips, seldom seen this close together. |

We just saw the movie "The Mustangs" and can relate to your image. Black subjects can be difficult to photograph but you succeeded. Glad the horse is not nibbling on me. |

Good composition and cropping - these make the image. My first thought when I saw this was that the picture was of a dead, mounted bird. Unusual view and juxtaposition that needs to be explained to the viewer. |

Interesting city landscape. Needs a bit more contrast. As is, the image is flat - give it some snap. |

Were the duck's feet really that orange? My first thought is that the image, or at least the feet, are over-saturated. Otherwise, a good, but not exciting, photograph of a pair of ducks. |

I, too, was bothered by the top right corner. I should have cropped it like you suggest. |

This is a scary picture. Reaching over to bush the mane away to get a better view of its eyes and maybe catch-lights was not going to happen! A humorous caption might even be applied. |

The out of focus vegetation at the left is a problem and is distracting. Good framing but the bland sky reduces impact. |
