A classic flower picture and it is well-done. I would not have cut off the stamens; I would have tried to preserve their curvature. |

I saw the exhibit of his work at the NY Botanical Garden and probably these same glass rods. I like the reflections of the rods in the water and, had I been there, I would have concentrated on the reflections. |

Did your 810 soak up what little ambient light was there? I've had a similar experience with my D7100. Did you try to get a local cowboy in the picture?! An unusual photograph. |

Without reading your comment, I knew this had to be one of the Great Lakes. Great perspective and the bit of shoreline helps an already strong image. The blue tint doesn't bother me, sometimes it looks like that in real life. |
