Mel, I enjoy your image and your "repeating forms" comment. I, too enjoyed the Duoro area! Please see my "Port Barrel" shot in group 39 |

I regret being so late in making comments. I thought I had completed all!
Now, as I compare the rich vegetation of your homeland, with the "high desert" of my Colorado...I see no comparison! I would have to travel several hundred miles to see plant life as you have captured, here. ( Or travel a few miles to a manicured golf course)
The can, nestled in the plants tells me that only a small amount of water is required to keep a garden green and lush. I am envious! You present a good story, here.

The floor differs from the Original due to the "oil painting" filter I used in PP. |

I agree with Mary Ann's assessment...your photo looks to be a pencil or charcoal sketch. Is your statue standing on a globe? |

You have the makings of a good story, here! While you have captured "people"...what were they shooting? Whatever it was, it had caught everyone's simultaneous attention. I agree with the other Paul...the shadow of the tree branches is a good addition to this image. |

I tried ICM on an image, last month...yours came out much better. Trying this technique is less difficult when shooting indoors...outdoors introduces too much light. I notice a leaf, in your image is not blurry at all. Did you use a flash as part of your 1.6 sec SS. Keep up the good work. I hope to learn more about ICM. |
