Good grasp of the technology available to make this shot(s) happen. 10 frames per second was useful but not enough to capture this bird so clearly at such a distance. Well done. |

The lighting on these tree trucks is wonderful. The image might be improved if the bottom were cropped ever so slightly. And I agree with the other Paul...the dark areas need no more touch up. Good work. |

Spontaneous Street Photography...good stuff. On my MacBook monitor I see "grain", and I really like it. Grain in the bench, in the white coat, and in the steps bring interest to this image. Good job. |

I agree with Bob. This image, IMV, lacks sufficient interest without some detail in the background. Paul's notion to add/create an interesting background is sound advice. |

This is a Keeper! I cannot decide which is the Star of the Show: The Ducks or the Foggy Tree. But together, they are a hit. With the lens you used (I have the same one ), there is a risk of lens blur when shooting a SS slower than 1/1000. Nice work! |

Good shot...and the B/W is the better image. I agree with Paul on the f/4 focal point. It is ever so slighty off but still good. And I agree with Bob that portraits are difficult...almost always require artificial light or a reflector. It sounds like you had fun with this project. That is what matters. |
