...much better! And thanks for the tip on "depth blur"
I believe you and I could routinely view a common scene and see much different images. On some instances, you may wonder,"why did Paul even take that shot", and I may wonder about yours. But I do encourage your detailed comments. Keep them coming! |

The "Words of the Day" are Persistent and Tenacious ! Wow! What commitment to a project! Your image is impressive, and so is your work ethic. You have produced wonderful detail in clouds, rock and water. B/W was a good idea. I cannot add anything...you have already done everything!!! Well done |

I will agree with Dawn, regarding your original...that the Seagull stands out very nicely alone in the dark background. When you increased exposure you revealed details...mussels, starfish, clams that make your image interesting for different reasons. I like both! |

Your sky colors are wonderful...so good I would save this and use as a blended backdrop with other images!. I like Mark's observation...this is better w/o a sunburst
And if possible, I would like to bring out more detail (and less haze) in the nearby ridges. You have taken on a complex project and made into a work of beauty. Nice job. |

When Sharpening and De-noise were complete, I applied a Blur mask to the entire image. Then went back and brushed away the blur that had covered the people, leaving only them in a clear focus. |

1/1000 ss at f/4...that explains the sharp, clear focus on the grass seeds. But in my view, the star of the show is this wonderful "watercolor" behind the grasses. This has the look of a blending of your photograph and an impressionist painting. Really good image! |

Dawn, we need to talk!!
This is wonderful, once again! So, if I understand, this is a single shot taken on a tripod for 10 seconds! How did you get it so PINK...what tool(s). Very well done. |
