This is beautiful...I wouldn't change a thing! Mr. Hrankowski said it best, "we are indeed fortunate to live in Colorado!" |

AI already presents concerns. I made my comments under "full disclosure " for that reason |

Ruth, it is nice to have you drop by our Group. And I thank you for noticing! Apparently, Dawn, of my group, is not the only one interested in the direction of the flying geese!! As both a fisherman and a goose hunter it never occurred to me that these geese were flying the wrong way! I'll have a chat with them, when I return to Lake Manitowish !!!
I drop in on your work, from time to time. Really good stuff. |

You and Dawn are competing for Best Mountain Photographer. I think your focus is spot on, here, considering f5/6. The dehaze issue does not 'Cloud" the superb shot you present! And don't you just love Sicilian Pizza? Good shot, Neil |

Did you buy a place in Iceland???
This is one of your better images of water-in-motion! You have successfully captured "water falling down, and water bouncing up" And noted, good job on the texture in the rock background. Well done. |

Ed,
You have become a risk-taker by developing more frequently in B&W. Good! I cannot add much to Dawn's thorough critique, except to ask that you try increasing both your shutter speed and ISO. You might find the focus to turn out crisper. And I agree with Dawn, that you have properly captured the ship "entering" the frame, rather than departing from it! Well done. |

Dawn,
This shot was worth the wait. You show great patience in working to get just what you want...and it pays off. You have done well to capture the back/forth motion of the water. How many is "tons" of shots...is it an hours worth? More? You have a knack for capturing motion and pink clouds. Well done! |

Darcy, I like this image. Herein is a story I know very well. This has "escape" written all over it! While it is not in proper focus, I don't mind. With this, you have captured the dream of a fisherman, or a hunter who, while cramped a bit in a tiny shanty, is quite content by being warm, dry, out of the wind. And for ten days a year this is his favorite spot on the planet! He can cook his catch with dirt in his nails and not give it a second thought! I have been here!
I probably would have titled this "Wanna Get Away"
Great shot ! |

I'll check to see the geese are on a "maneuverable" layer. If yes, I could rotate them horizontally |
