For Street Photography where faces can be an important part of the image, I try to get lost in the background so as to become unnoticed. For this image, I was standing inside a grouping of people, all looking in the same direction as my camera.
On other occasions, where my presence is obvious, I ask for permission. Thank you for your kind words. |

Ed,
While your image is in proper focus and exposure, it IMV, lacks a story. It has difficulty standing alone without other features. Share with us what was it that you liked about it! |

You are becoming a PP wizard! And, your R7 was working well on this occasion. I have tried, unsuccessfully, to capture Lightning...it is difficult. But you succeeded, here. I see motion occurring in your lightning bolt. Tell us about your SS. |

This is NOT an ABS! This is Special. I prefer to think your mother would be quite proud this sunset. I agree with Jeffrey, in that your color "is amazing". |

I like the "Light and Shadow" effect you present here. It tells us the time of day! And I agree with Jeffrey regarding the crisp, clear focus of a hand-held f/5 image. Did you run this through a Sharpener? Well done. |

Jeffrey,
You have captured an amazing feat of engineering and construction...over any time period! Your image explains just how complex this task was. I like it that you show so many towers, along the serpentine path of the wall. IMV, your image could be even more powerful were you to dehaze a bit. Very nice!! |

I took the photo to send to a friend who owns the "CooperSmith's Pub, shown in the image. And that I mixed Abstract with Realism was...well, accidental rather than intentional. ( You flatter me, and I appreciate it!) But thanks for your kind words...and for the tip about Words/signage being a distraction. It makes sense. I will be more cautious in scouring my photos for unnecessary "words". Good to hear from you. |

You have taken a good image...not great, but good, and turned it into a beautiful piece of art. IMV, what makes this special is Not the birds and Not the reflections
( important as these are) but the colorization of the clouds. Tell us what you can about this process...please! |
