93 May 23 Comment The ferns and palms must love their next door neighbor! At first glance I thought you had presented a waterfall. Upon further study, I now understand the mist, the rock/lava formation, and the wonderful dense forest in the back. In the center of your image, you have presented an extra burst of light...yellow light on the palm. Very nice touch. May 24th
93 May 23 Comment I'm glad you explained the "oil/water" phenomenon at the bottom of the falls. That is a nice touch for your image. IMV, the star of your show is the waterfall. If you were to zoom closer into the rocks and remove much of the greenery, I think the image would be better. Also, it's just me, but I prefer a slower shutter speed to grasp the impact of the water! 93 May 23 Comment For someone who has not seen this scene, I think the mist "clouds" (forgive me) the total picture. But the more I view it, the more important the mist becomes. With help of Mark's edit, I now better understand the forest in the background. Nice capture! May 24th
