26 Jul 22 Comment An image of this quality...so expressive, so natural, should have a title!! Jul 10th
26 Jul 22 Comment This image writes its own narrative. That you captured the girl to the right, with minimal blur; yet captured the lead cyclist with greater blur, explains the pace of the contestants! Well done! Jul 10th

93 Jul 22 Reply I'll try as you suggest...thanks for your comments Jul 18th
93 Jul 22 Comment Dawn...Great shot of the buffalo, in the opening photos. Congratulations for being selected! Jul 15th
93 Jul 22 Comment Recently, Mark has taken to evaluating/critiquing an image before reading the narrative; then going back with the photographer's information. I tried this here! I did not know you were at Yellowstone, and I assumed the background was, at first, mountains. Your narrative AND your PP made a great difference. The added touch of magenta and of blue make a positive difference...very creative. Jul 10th
93 Jul 22 Reply The photo was taken, largely because of the man scratching his head. He appeared to be the shop owner. I do not speak Italian, and can only imagine the conversation because of their intonation. The owner had apparently been presented with a "fix-it" problem. The men on the ground were chiming in with sundry comments, I could not decipher. The man on the balcony was no passive listener...he was barking out instructions, as though HE had a solution!! It was 5 minutes of humor, from a distance. Thank you for your observation. Jul 10th
93 Jul 22 Comment Excellent use of your 17mm wide lens. Did you use a tripod? Your Burney Falls closely resembles "Hanging Lake", a waterfall near Glenwood Springs, Colorado. ( Ok, everyone, Google "Hanging Lake" to see the similarities ) Great color, clarity. Your image tells us it is Autumn, without having to mention the time of year! Nice capture! Jul 8th
93 Jul 22 Comment Your composition enhances the "mystery" of the image. I kept asking, "how far am I from the diagonal rock formations...left or right"? "Is the bottom just beyond these formations"? I agree with Neil...you show great imagination in cropping the top of the falls. Without image #2, I would have been lost. Very nice! Jul 8th
93 Jul 22 Reply FWIW, I like the way you write! I shot over 900 images while on our 12 day Italy/Sicily tour. When I got home and began to unpack them, I found that 60% - 70% were of people...people chatting, eating, arguing. Really fun stuff. Thanks for your comments. Jul 8th
93 Jul 22 Reply I'm interested...thanks Jul 6th
93 Jul 22 Reply Thank you for dropping by. It's good to have "new eyes" critique our images. Regarding your comment about the sign...I see a sign on the center/left, but nothing on the upper right. Shall I clone out the circular sign on the left. ( it's not old-world like the rest of the image) Jul 6th
93 Jul 22 Comment This is great use of your 28mm lens. The wide angle better explains the story of a big marina. What "correction" did you make in ACR? You are becoming the Travelogue of the group! I like your photo! Jul 5th
93 Jul 22 Comment I am a big fan of "street scenes". This one tells the story of a small community brought together by a Holiday!! In my view, the Red Motorcycles and the Orange traffics dividers are over saturated, but that's just me! f/10 was a good idea! Jul 5th
93 Jul 22 Comment Good clarity on Ibis...good DOF overall! Color and exposure are spot on. In your original, the bird is centered, and in your edited version the bird is leaving the frame. Was that your intention? Jul 5th

96 Jul 22 Comment Very nice, considering you didn't have your A Team for the shot! I have been trying to reach you on a separate matter! Please check email and "messages". Thanks Jul 6th
