Thank you, for your kind words! The 10mm is not quire a "fisheye"...it routinely distorts clouds but no other distortion is noticeable. I don't know if this matters, but I was no more than 5 feet from the cabin when I shot this. Thanks, again! |

At first glance, I thought this came from Utah! I spent time in Wire Pass, looking at similar geology. This is more massive! I agreed with your people comments on Ed's Seascape image...and I agree with your use of a person in Carbon Creek Canyon. Without something to scale, we cannot imagine how big these places are. As for me, your image is a bit noisy, lacking in sharp detail. Your submitted image is crisper than the original, but still hazy. jus sayin' |

I believe Mark makes a good point...you do not need the people in this image for it to be worthy. The seascape, for which you are renown, is too good to share space with these treasure hunters. In Colorado we have very few sea stacks...very few! So when I see something like this, I want it all by itself!! Say hi to Dan! |

I agree with your thought about the chair owner...where is he/she now? How long has it been there? It appears torn! What happened? The image you submitted is better than your original. Mark will be proud of you. I don't know if you follow Larry Treadwell, leader of Group 36. Larry insists that every image have story. I drop in on his images, not only because he is a good photographer, but because he explains things very well. Give him a look!
Good job |

Kelly,
The flowers are in sharp focus, but I believe the image strength is in the gate. The gate makes for a good story..."what does it lock in, or keep out?" Great color and sharp focus separation. That you placed the gate off center adds to the interest. This is easy to stare at! |

The Gecko is so well camouflaged, I'm struck that you even noticed this shot!! This is so good, you may wish to submit it to a "Nature" magazine. I appreciate good clarity and detail...I have been working to improve on these. In this photo, you have it! That you got this crisp focus at 1/60th is amazing. Well done |

Dawn, this is certainly one of your better entries..if not The Best. Color, clarity, crisp focus...you have it all. Nice use of the tripod. I rather imagine that Ed, king of the seascapes, will enjoy this one! Well done. |
