93 Apr 22 Reply Thank you. I appreciate your comments. The idea for this trip came from watching several YouTube videos on "Hot Tent" camping! Apr 27th

93 Apr 22 Reply Bring back plenty of shots from Alaska...I'm envious! Apr 15th
93 Apr 22 Comment You find interesting waterfalls, in your many travels! f/1000 provided the SS to stop the water. Next time, consider taking the shot with both a fast and a slow (er) SS. The differences can be dramatic. Take a moment to click over to Group 96...see how Mr. Nagasaki used different SS to create his effect. Good job! Apr 14th
93 Apr 22 Comment What time of day was this image captured? I ask because of the "light and shadow" on the tree trunks...very nice touch. A tripod and f/20 were good ideas. The dense greenery is fun to see. I miss it, from my days in the midwest. Ferns and Colorado are two words rarely found in the same sentence. Well done Apr 11th
93 Apr 22 Comment The notion of shooting vertically, then cropping to horizontal is very clever. I've made note! Could you please tell us which were the objects of your 3 different focus stacking points. ( another clever idea)

At first glance, I thought I was viewing the opening scene of "Hunt for Red October".
As I studied this, I found the texture in your clouds to be a nice, subtle touch!

93 Apr 22 Comment I like lots of things in this image! Your exposure and focus are spot on! In particular, I like how you brought out the light on the surfer's feet and hand. Good detail. The slower SS beings out the motion in the waves. And, I like that you have positioned the Rock away from center. Well done! Apr 9th
93 Apr 22 Comment "Light and Shadow"..."leading lines"..."DOF". This a daunting photograph! Well done. Apr 7th
