Oh my! This is wonderful. I cannot top Stephen's narrative...he depicts very well, so I'll only add, "please tell us what light source you used to paint the fruit"? Was it a small flashlight? |

Regarding your earlier comments, I'm not smart enough to take a photo with the thought that someone's eye will *rest* in a certain place. Feel free to let that eye roam! Unapologetically, I snapped this looking at the three Teton peaks. When it came out of PS, suddenly I had mist, sinuous waves, leading lines, intersecting lines.
Mark...I got lucky with this one! Larry Treadwell will tell us "goods photos are planned". Apparently not all of them are! |

I am a regular visitor to your Group, largely because I'm always intrigued with the work of Dan Mottaz. And again, this month Dan has created something special. But on this visit I was struck by your "Lumeire". Excellent B/W image. You have taken a good color image and made it into a piece of art...worthy of display on a prominent wall. In particular, I appreciate what you have done with the contrast in your clouds and the light in the trees, at right. If this is your first experiment with B/W, I see a future for you!!! |
