Paul,
I am not in your Group ( I am in Group 93) but as I was perusing other Groups, I came across your "Hosta". It is excellent...proper focus, proper exposure. That said, please click to my image at Group 93, and advise how I can make my Aloe a better B/W image...please. |

Dan, without wanting to be a bother, I ask if you could you spend a few lines detailing how you removed the ripples from the water (time exposure), then merging another image with different shutter speed to get this great effect. Could you be more specific than what you offered in your description, above. Thanks |

If you go to my image in Group 93, you'll see I have a dilemma. Please see Dan's comments and my reply. Thanks |

I love the comments...but I'm confused. David was distracted by the cactus in "top left". You agreed with him him then said the "top right" cactus was the distraction!! Help! I'm experimenting with the image, but I need clarification. Thanks! |

Who's permission do you seek...who do I ask? We get to Surprise, AZ sparingly, but I will use your ideas. Thanks |

Darcy, please consider reducing the highlights and raising the shadows. The water plants in lower left are unnecessary to the beauty of your image ( if you can remove them without much bother. ) Do you use "Content Aware" fill? |

Jerry, please take this with a grain salt...the rainbow is perfect, but the canyon beneath could benefit from exposure and dehaze adjustments. Please consider "selected area" exposure reduction, then dehaze in same area. I use NIK Collection for that sort of surgery! Hope that helps |

I am attracted, first to the colors in the image, then the reflections...love the reflections. I wish the shack had not been in the center of the frame. |

Dan, your image is wonderful, and I'm even more impressed with the Post process techniques you used...multiple f-stops, and shutter speeds, and how to remove texture on water surface. Impressive! |
