I thought about changing the color tone from sepia to black-and-white and adding more contrast per your previous feedback. You beat me to it. Thanks for making this version with a different 'feel' from my original version. I plan to present another monochrome for next month. Can't wait for your comments. :-) |

The monochrome version is definitely more powerful than the color one! I'd suggest adding a bit more vignette to really make your wife pop. |

Thanks for the detailed explanation about the 'rime'; it's really interesting, especially for someone like me who hasn't lived in such a cold climate. Just like your other photos, they're clean, sharp, simple, and all taken with meticulous planning and great technical skill. |

I agreed with Brenda's comments. Just curious, what did you use to capture this image? Camera on a plane/hot air balloon or drone with a camera? |

It is an interesting one!! I agreed with Brenda; the color appears to be a bit saturated. I feel that the dead limb is too close to the edge (left side), and you can use 'corp expand' in PS, if you are not considering PSA competition rules. |

As always, your image composition is so skillful! I really love this minimalist photo. The only thing I think you might consider is adding a bit of snow texture-maybe 'recovering' or adding it. I know it can be tricky to photograph snow. |

That's beautifully done! I was curious to see if flipping the image horizontally would give it a "left-to-right" composition feel. The left-to-right rule suggests positioning subjects on the left, with them moving or looking right to create a natural, harmonious, and forward-moving story. |
