Thank you for pointing out that I missed fixing the reflection. The more I look at this I agree with you and Dawn the original moon is better. |

Thanks for the feedback. When you say you like the original is that the total uncropped. I see where that does add another layer.
I want to say I did have to act fast with the clouds because it was quickly being overtaken. |

I love moon rises, unfortunately I had to settle for the moonset. This is an amazing site to see. Well, worth an attempt to photograph. |

It is actually like a metallic type of foil paper to print photos on here is one link.

I have to say my first impression was wow what a busy image. I then stepped back took a breath and realized that each crane point helped me travel through the image |

You are showing a side of Oregon I did not see. I agree with Dawn about the lone tree. |

I miss the changing of the seasons. This image makes me think of sipping hot cocoa on my porch looking out on the amazing view. It also makes me wonder what the small building houses. |

Great image. What catches my eye is the fact that in my mind I drew a triangle from the moon to the edge of the water on each side. I too love the simplicity of this image. |

I love this image. Paul is right very emotional. I feel like I'm almost home and yes someone left the light on for me. I don't know if you frame or print your images but I'm wondering how this would look on a metal or just a foil paper. I'm assuming you left the snow in the bottom left of the frame as a grounding, have you thought of just cropping that out. I hope you don't mind I tried. |

I like the image as a whole. I have no experience with photo stacking. I love your use of odds, I also like the use of layers and leading lines.
My only thought and this is a personal preference. I cropped the foreground a little I left the leading line but I felt like I was falling out of my chair with your version.

Yes, this was on a tripod. Thank you for the comments. The more I look at the image and the way I edited does make it look more like a sun. It was the moon setting and the sun was rising in the east so there was some interesting lighting going on. I had scoped the rocks out the night before and then kept having to move the chair and tripod to get the moon lined up. Interesting adventure. |
