I agree with Ed you do find the old buildings. The meadowlark caught my eye right away. I am however wondering if there is too much grass in the foreground? Great composition.		 Aug 11th

I agree with both Ed and Paul. I would like to add that my favorite part of the image is the shadow on the water created by the clouds.

I have to say it is amazing what our cell phones can do.
The composition is perfect. I am wondering if there is a way to tone down the clouds that is the only thing I would change.		 Aug 11th

Thank you for the compliment. If I were to put this on a poster for what is Oregon is like I would have to put a disclaimer. We have been here almost 3 months and have had 10 days of sun. The other thing is advertising like this would make Oregon crowded. I am glad it is not crowded.

I can relate to the darkness of the coastal forests. Was this on a tripod? I love the composition I am a tad distracted by the clump of grass. I hope you don't mind I removed the clump of grass.		 Aug 4th

Welcome to the group. I like how you captured a half starburst. Did you use a tripod? IMO it does seem like you shot a little down which makes the foreground a distraction. I hope you don't mind I did crop it.		 Aug 4th
