What is amazing is how fleeting and quick the spring bloom is in the desert. It's now settled in the mid 90s |

I do agree with the haze. What I want to say about this is where are the horses that the people are watching. Ok in my story they are watching horses. The first thing my eyes are drawn to are the people. I then allow my eyes to start and take in the whole scene. Here I am able to see the whole scene. Great job. |

I hope you don't mind. I tried my hand at getting rid of the green in the water by using point color in ACR . I am amazed at how easy and with just a few tweaks you can separate out the colors to make them pop.
I agree with Dawn about the green mixed in with the brown. I selected a spot in the water and moved the hue a -17 more towards the brown orange end. I then bumped up the luminance and saturation. IMO it brought out more of the straw color. I then clicked a color in the fern and went more green instead of yellow I also bumped up both luminance and saturation. let me know what you think. |

Thank you. In the one I edited the mountains in the mid ground on the left hand of the image IMO looks funky. I think I over processed. |

I do like this one better. It gives more of a mist to the rock and the sky looks less harsh. |

I love the abstract feel of this image. I am also wondering if there is a way to tamp down the burn out. Great composition. |

Amazing. I am impressed with the shot as well as the journey you took to get there.
I do agree with George your clouds somehow are boarding on being blown out. Great composition. |

Welcome to the group. I agree with Paul you will be a good fit.
Your technique with the sky does sound interesting. I am wondering if you could tone down the highlights just a tad. I love the painterly effect of the foregrounds and the waves. |

Thank you. The funny part about this course is I am not even a 1/3rd of the way through it. I would say it makes you look at your colors so differently.
His name is Blake Rudis. https://f64academy.com/ I like this guy because it isn't all about buy this course or this preset. His color theory course starts you out teaching you about what color is. I know for others it is a review, for me something clicked. This course is mainly focusing on color separation and making the image not flat. He also helps you to bring out the artist inside yourself.
