I don't mind you playing with my image I also did a purple version. It does change the mood.
As far as the Salton sea go It is worth heading down there at least once. The sculpture is in Bombay Beach which is on the Hwy 111 side. The So Cal Chapter of PSA is having our Bi annual meeting in May 3rd and 4th. Sandi Wheaton who is the person who did the tour that this picture was taken at is doing a reduced fee tour for attendees of the conference. The Speaker is Lisa Langell and Mason Mullaly. If you want I can send you the website. The event is in Palm Desert. |

Thank you. I have to say I took a few photos where I was tracking the movement and this one spoke the most to me. It was amazing the 'dance' was coming at the same time dusk was happening. |

Thank you. It is funny though I have another photo for review and to me it evokes a bunch of feeling, because I was there and know the back story. It is kinda hard to grasp that I am more attached to the image more then the audience.

I love the color of the waves and I don't know if you noticed the bird in the air.
Good job |

Hi Ed
I see destruction yet hope from this picture if that makes sense. I do say Dawn's edit brings about a whole different impression and is not flat. I am glad you stayed safe. Your version focuses on the driftwood and makes me want to climb on it.
I do have to say the brown piece of wood in the foreground was very much a distraction. I hope you don't mind I removed it in my version. I also masked the driftwood and used the vibrance layer, then did the overlay blend to bring out more of the driftwood. |

Awesome idea. This causes me a bit of excitement. I might want to travel Europe. The map actually helps draw your eye away from the chain-link fence keeping people out of the Coliseum, It makes the picture welcoming instead of stay out view from a distance. |

Thank you for sharing. Your images always seem to invoke emotions. I agree with Dawn about the river being too bright, but your explanation works for me.
I have to say I have recently been sharing with the author of images the emotion a certain image has on me. I guess because for my own images I want to bring out emotion in the viewer.
IMO I see fear and trepidation, an almost do not go around that bend because you will be crossing a point of now return. You must be ready to go all in. My thought is what obstacle is heading round the bend? Thanks for sharing

Great work. My eyes are immediately drawn to the middle of the image. This is where my mind sees a 'spider' the greens of the fern is the web, the path takes you around the bend to the spider. |
