Having Joshua Tree National Park in my backyard I've never really have thought about photographing them. I like the way my eyes are drawn through the composition but I feel like it is over sharpened. |

Before I masked the sky in ACR I took down the exposure +5 contrast -16 highlights +45 shadows +7 whites -25 blacks then I masked the sky and took down the exposure an additional 1.3 highlights -75 shadows +28 whites -14 |

I left one step out of my description and that was the fact that I masked the sky and then did the adjustments.
