Thank you for all the tips. I love learning curves. I do have photo pills, but only think about them for night photos. I will start using that.
The depth of field with a long lens is frustrating I've lost a couple good wildlife photos this summer because f8 makes a shallow field at a long focal length.

I was handheld. I actually shot this from my chair, so I kinda had a built in triangle. I will try that crop. This summer we are in South Dakota. |

Thank you. I got it as a new lens and was trying to photograph birds and couldn't find any so I shot some water. Just learning the lens. |

Thanks Neil
I love shooting through water, and I was just bummed the original was way over exposed. |

This is perfect composition IMO. I see the foreground ripples that my eyes dance upon. They then move to the middle ground where I see footprints and the dune. I can only see one person, but I do see the footprints of the second one. At first I thought the footprints were a distraction but they are needed for perspective. Lastly my eyes wander up to the wispy clouds. Great job. |

I could see this as a poster in a room somewhere. The poses and expressions are classic. Neil summed it up street photography on the beach. |

I love the bokeh of the background it draws my eyes to the stars of the show the horses. The fact that you can see the hairs on their little chin chins is an added plus.
So cool that you were able to get so close. |

This is an amazing picture. I love all the lines and valleys and peaks. The interesting thing for me is the blueness of some of the glaciers, I've only seen the blue green in glaciers, yours show a bluer blue. I hope I'm explaining myself right. Did you bring out this blue in post? |

Yes another amazing shot. I get a feeling of softness when I look at this picture. I agree with Paul about the cropping |
